Wortel Berbentuk Bayi Alien Ditemukan!

Seorang ahli akupuntur hidup di Sussex, Inggris, terkejut ketika menemukan wortel yang berbentuk aneh di pot tanamannya. Bentuk wortel tersebut seperti memiliki kaki dan kepala.

Yvonne Darnell menemukan wortel dengan bentuk tak lazim saat dirinya sedang berkebun di rumahnya yang terletak di Burgess Hill.

"Saya tak mengira akan hal ini, ini sangat lucu. Wortel ini tampak seperti bayi alien (makhluk luar angkasa), saya pun memberi nama wortel ini dengan nama Kevin," ujar Yvonne, seperti dikutip Orange, Sabtu (3/9/2011).

Wortel kecil itu memiliki kepala dan tangkainya menyerupai rambut. Wortel aneh itu juga memiliki kaki.

With green shoots for its hair and two dangling tips for its legs, it's easy to see how Yvonne has become attached to the arm-less root vegetable.

Wortel-wortel aneh sebelumnya juga ditemukan di Oxon, Inggris. Wortel di Oxon berbentuk astronot seperti karakter Buzz Lightyear di film kartun Toy Story. Wortel ini ditemukan oleh seorang bernama Clive Williams. Sementara itu di Shrpshire, ditemukan pula wortel berbentuk tangan dengan lima jari oleh seorang pria berusia 66 tahun, Peter Jackson.(rhs)
