Seni "Menghancurkan" Rumah

HOUSTON - Bila sekilas dilihat, rumah ini seperti hancur karena ledakan bom. Tapi jika diperhatikan lebih teliti, sesungguhnya rumah hancur ini adalah sebuah karya seni dari dua orang seniman bernama Dan Havel dan Dean Ruck.

Dan serta Dean sengaja merombak bangunan sebuah rumah yang terbuat dari susunan kayu untuk dijadikan sebuah karya seni.

Kayu-kayu tersebut dibuat berantakan, seolah-olah habis terkena ledakan. Namun sesungguhnya kayu-kayu disusun secara beraturan sehingga membuat tumpukan vertikal dan horizontal yang artistik. Demikian diberitakan Daily Mail, Jumat (14/10/2011).

Awal mulanya, Dan yang ditemani Dean mencoba membuat karya uniknya ini dari dua buah bungalow.

Kedua orang itu menghancurkan dinding interior bungalow, lalu kayu-kayu tersebut disusun dan dipaku pada permukaan luar sedemikian rupa sehingga membentuk proyeksi yang diharapkan.

Hasilnya, kedua seniman ini menawarkan pemandangan unik dari masing-masing bangunan yang mereka "hancurkan".(rhs)
